News Tajdid, Tarakan – Ade Kurniawan resmi dilantik sebagai Ketua Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) periode 2025-2027. Pelantikan berlangsung pada Selasa, 21 Januari 2025, di Swiss-Belhotel Tarakan.
Ade Kurniawan terpilih secara aklamasi karena menjadi calon tunggal dalam pemilihan Ketua HIPMI Kaltara. Keputusan ini menandakan adanya dukungan penuh dari para anggota terhadap kepemimpinannya dalam tiga tahun ke depan.
Ketua HIPMI Kaltara periode sebelumnya, Achmad Syamsir Arief, dalam sambutannya menegaskan bahwa HIPMI adalah rumah bagi para pengusaha muda. Ia berpesan agar seluruh anggota terus membangun relasi yang kuat demi kemajuan ekonomi di Kaltara.

Sementara itu, Ketua Umum Badan Pengurus Pusat (BPP) HIPMI, Akbar Himawan Buchari, menyatakan kekagumannya terhadap potensi ekonomi Kaltara, khususnya di sektor perikanan. Menurutnya, jika potensi ini dikelola dengan baik, HIPMI bisa mengambil peran dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah.
Akbar juga menekankan pentingnya perhatian terhadap Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Ia mengingatkan bahwa UMKM merupakan dasar pertumbuhan ekonomi dan harus menjadi prioritas dalam kepengurusan HIPMI Kaltara yang baru.
Gubernur Kalimantan Utara, Zainal A. Paliwang, turut hadir dalam acara tersebut dan menegaskan pentingnya peran HIPMI sebagai mitra strategis pemerintah dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dibumi benuanta.
Menurut Zainal, Kaltara memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah, termasuk sektor perikanan. Ia berharap pengusaha lokal mampu mengelola potensi tersebut secara mandiri agar manfaatnya dapat dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat setempat.
Ia juga meminta HIPMI Kaltara untuk lebih aktif berkontribusi dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah, khususnya dengan meningkatkan daya saing pengusaha muda di sektor industri yang berkembang di wilayah kaltara
Dalam pidato perdananya sebagai Ketua HIPMI Kaltara, Ade Kurniawan mengapresiasi panitia Steering Committee (SC) dan Organizing Committee (OC) yang telah bekerja keras menyukseskan acara pelantikan ini.
Ia menegaskan bahwa para pengusaha muda HIPMI Kaltara memiliki daya saing tinggi dan harus berperan dalam proyek-proyek besar yang masuk ke Kaltara, termasuk industri hijau di Tanah Kuning.
Ade juga mendorong anggota HIPMI untuk bersaing dengan perusahaan besar agar bisa menjadi vendor dalam proyek-proyek strategis di daerah. Menurutnya, pengusaha lokal memiliki kapasitas dan kompetensi untuk mengambil peran tersebut.
Ia menambahkan bahwa kepengurusan HIPMI Kaltara saat ini terdiri dari 30% anggota baru yang memiliki usaha aktif, baik dalam bentuk CV maupun PT. Dengan semangat baru ini, ia optimistis HIPMI Kaltara dapat lebih berkontribusi dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah.
